Established in 2018, Little Picassos began life at the Royal Inn on the Park, E9 and has since grown into a thriving creative community for children across Hackney and Tower Hamlets. At a time where arts is being squeezed out of mainstream schools, I set out to create a space where creativity comes first. Our aim is for children to learn about inspiring artists and techniques while expressing themselves freely and honing in on their own ideas and creativity.
With a background in Foundation Fine Art and Design and over 27 years experience working with primary aged children, I founded Little Picassos to inspire creativity and confidence. I have run art sessions across Hackney for a number of years and personally love to explore sculpture, collage and mixed media, bringing a fun, hands-on art and self-expression to every lesson. We are excited to share that Little Picassos has teamed up with The Peoples Park Tavern and will now be running FREE creative sessions every Sunday from 1-3pm. walk-ins welcome
